The Bronze and Silver Awards are the first two levels of the National Junior Angus Association Recognition Program. The Georgia Angus Association (GAA) posthumously inducted Robert L. This program was established by the GAA to recognize individuals that have made significant contributions to the Angus industry in Georgia and across the country. Werner Rachel 0073 won Grand Champion Cow-Calf Pair at the 2012 Southern National Angus Show, June 9 in Perry, GA. Wayne Banner, Eagleville, TN; Michael Banner, Spring Hill, TN; and Werner Angus, Cordova, IL, own the January 2010 daughter of TC Grid Topper 355. A February 2012 heifer calf sired by Kesslers Front Range 7520 completes the winning pair.

Gambles SS Shadoe 9010 won Supreme Champion and Grand Champion Female at the 2012 Southern National Angus Show, June 9 in Perry, GA. Breann Steadman, Greenwood, SC, owns the September 2010 daughter of BC Lookout 7024. She earlier won Senior Champion.

Cedar Creek Foreverlady 2803 won Reserve Grand Champion Cow-Calf Pair at the 2012 Southern National Angus Show, June 9 in Perry, GA. Teddi Steadman, Greenwood, SC, owns the February 2008 daughter of SAV 8180 Traveler 004. A January 2012 bull calf sired by SAV Bismarck 5682 is at side.

High Indexing Bull

The bull is a January 2011 son of SydGen Mandate 6079. He posted an average daily gain of 4.78 pounds. Angus Royalty
Shelby Eidson, Arnoldsville, Queen, left, and Abbey Gretsch, Crawford, Princess, right, were crowned Georgia Angus Royalty at the 2012 Georgia Angus Association Annual Meeting and Banquet, Jan. 28 in Athens, Ga.


The Georgia Angus Association (GAA) posthumously inducted Sam Ambrose, Newnan, with the Georgia Angus Hall of Fame Award at the 2012 Georgia Angus Association Annual Meeting and Banquet, Jan. 28 in Athens, Ga. This program was established by the GAA to recognize individuals that have made significant contributions to the Angus industry in Georgia and across the country.
